Dr. Manny Marks

Dr. Marks passed away on December 14, 2013.

Manny was an Eagle Scout and a lifelong supporter of scouting.  He taught generations of Troop 10 boys how to canoe and led trips on the Delaware River for over 30 years.  He also served as a Committee Member, Chairman of Lower Makefield Citizens for Scouting, and championed our Friends of Scouting campaign.  Most importantly, Manny was a loving husband, father, and a great friend.  He will be greatly missed.

Manny’s family has requested that memorial donations be made to “Troop 10”.  These donations will be used to fund a new waterfront instructional pavilion at Camp Ockanickon. Donations may be made by check to:

Troop Fundraising

Troop 10's fundraiser is selling gift cards for Giant and McCaffreys. Cards are sold at face value, but Troop 10 earns 5% of each card sold.

Cards are available for sale at all Troop Meetings. Contact Judith Berger at or (267) 980-8242.

Each family must purchase at least $1,000 of cards per scout during the Sept-Aug school year (the more the better). Any scout not purchasing the minimum will be assessed an extra $50 in dues (prorated based on amount purchased). Minimum does not apply to scouts who join the troop in the winter/spring.
